BLINK of an Eye nonprofit was formed in response to Louise’s and her son Archer’s experience with crisis and quadriplegia, and to the readers of the Archer Blog and the listeners of BLINK of an Eye Podcast who expressed a strong desire to know more about navigating crisis and trauma, spinal cord injury, and trauma healing.

Each chapter opens with an SCI hero for personal lives experience insights and tips and unfolds with interviews of family members and professionals offering their expertise, insights and tips on the topic and experience.
